Having a great time getting to know these little works of art by Jeffrey Dame, the nose behind Dame Perfumery. I almost never do this, but I purchased his Mate Heliotrope & Patchouli after only smelling the nozzle. Oooooh! Huge faux pas from any seasoned perfumista who knows that one must try a perfume on the skin to know whether or not you will like it. There is nothing worse than buying a perfume with almost no experience with it, only to spritz it on and hate it! Well that luckily did not happen. Smells absolutely amazing and has become a quick favorite on heavy rotation.

Isn't Mate, Heliotrope & Patchouli just wonderful? My favorite, really, of all eight of the eau de toilettes. [don't tell the other eau de toilettes I said so]. So happy you're happy. A little Modern American Perfumery goes a long way. J. 10/21/2015 11:30:18 pm
